Terms of Service

1. What DetailKit is
DetailKit (“we”, “us”) provides online booking software for mobile car-detailing businesses (“you”, the “detailer”): a public booking page, vehicle-size based pricing, scheduling, client records and automated email notifications. Your clients use your booking page without creating an account.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the services, prices and policies you publish on your booking page.
3. Subscription and billing
- DetailKit is a monthly subscription. Current pricing is shown on our homepage.
- New accounts include a free trial (currently 14 days). No card is required to start the trial.
- Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout, invoicing and applicable taxes.
- You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. See our Refund Policy.
4. Payments between you and your clients
DetailKit never processes, holds or takes a cut of payments between you and your clients. Deposits and balances are settled directly between you and your client using your own payment methods (e.g. Venmo, Cash App, card readers). Any dispute about a detailing job or its payment is between you and your client.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use DetailKit to send spam, publish unlawful content, misrepresent your business, or attempt to break or overload the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Your data
Your client list and booking history are yours. You can request an export at any time by emailing us. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Service availability and changes
We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted operation. We may improve or change features over time; if a change materially reduces core functionality, we will notify you by email first.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profits or lost bookings.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. On termination we retain data only as long as needed by law, then delete it.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email you at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new terms.
